What if healthy aging begins with listening?

Most movement education tells you what to do. Somatic Wisdom™ focuses on learning how to listen. It is a way of building a lifelong relationship with your body through curiosity rather than fear, exploration rather than limitation, and wisdom rather than striving.

The series looks beyond muscles and flexibility alone. Together we explore how the nervous system, brain-to-muscle communication, mindful movement, and conscious muscular engagement work together to support resilient strength and easier everyday movement.

You'll explore the body's capacity to
  •  Self-correct and self-regulate
  •  Adapt and learn at any age
  •  Develop healthier movement patterns
  •  Build resilient strength
  •  Move with greater ease and pleasure

From Awareness to Embodiment

The four workshops are not isolated classes

Together they form a progressive journey, each session building on the awareness opened by the one before it.

Step One

Remember

"My body is still capable of learning."

Awaken awareness and reconnect with the innate intelligence of the nervous system.

Step Two

Repattern

"My patterns are not permanent."

Recognize unconscious habits and create healthier movement choices.

Step Three

Strengthen

"I can become stronger than I imagined."

Develop resilient muscles, bones, fascia, balance, coordination, and confidence through mindful movement.

Step Four

Embody

"I can trust my body, and myself, again."

Allow awareness to become embodied freedom, resilience, confidence, and joy.

The Four-Part Journey

Four live workshops, one continuous arc

Nov 9

Awakening Somatic Wisdom™

Rediscovering the body's capacity to heal, adapt, and thrive

We begin with the foundational principles of Somatic Wisdom™ and the body's innate capacity to learn, adapt, and restore healthier movement.

You'll explore how chronic muscular holding patterns, sensory-motor amnesia, and unconscious movement habits can contribute to stiffness, joint stress, and reduced mobility. Through gentle Somatic Movement Flows®, you begin reconnecting with your body's natural ability to self-regulate.

Theme: Building self-awareness

Rewriting Your Movement Story

Repatterning muscles to support healthy bones and joints

Injury, stress, repetitive habits, and emotional experiences can all contribute to protective movement patterns that linger long after the original event.

You'll learn how Gentle Somatic Yoga® uses slow, mindful movement and conscious awareness to support healthier muscle tone and improved brain-to-muscle communication, and how that awareness creates new movement choices rather than repeating old habits.

Building Resilient Strength

Cultivating bone, muscle, and fascial vitality through conscious movement

Healthy bones ask for more than movement. They also benefit from intelligent, intentional muscular engagement.

You'll explore how mindful muscular effort can support stronger bones while respecting vulnerable joints, working through Somatic Movement Flows® with functional strength, balance, coordination, posture, and stability. The emphasis is not on exercising harder, but on moving more intelligently.

Theme: Strength

Somatic Alchemy™

Transforming movement into lifelong freedom, confidence, and joy

The final workshop integrates the principles of Somatic Wisdom™ into embodied movement.

Through mindful movement, breath, reflection, and embodied awareness, you'll explore reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have become distant through injury, chronic tension, fear, or long-held protective patterns. The focus is resilience, pleasure, confidence, trust, and the possibility of continued growth.

Theme: Embodiment, stress reduction, and a total soma reset

What is Somatic Wisdom™?

It is an approach built on learning to listen to the body rather than forcing it into prescribed shapes. Instead of overriding sensation, you use it as information, and let that information guide what comes next.

Each step opens the one that follows.

01

Awareness

Noticing what is actually happening.

02

Listening

Letting sensation inform the movement.

03

Choice

Responding instead of repeating.

04

Repatterning

New habits taking root over time.

05

Resilience

Strength that adapts with you.
